The modern world presents many obstacles to our children. One of the most important and talked about is our health. Many people feel that vegetarianism is beneficial in controlling childhood obesity and early onset diabetes in adolescents. Choosing to eat plants, instead of animals, benefits the environment and soothes the conscious of those who question the moral factors of eating meat. While never stated outright, the idea is implied that many animals eat herbivorous diets by design. This colorful picture book states what animal the child-narrator feels like when they eat different plant based foods. In the end though, who does the child really feel like? An engaging read for vegan, vegetarian, and omnivorous parents and children.
